THE MAN BEHIND THE MISSION
“I don’t just teach this. I live it.”
FROM THE BATTLEFIELD TO THE RING
Coach Mark is a lifelong Martial Artist. His journey began in 1992 at age 9, studying Kempo Karate in Baltimore, where he first fell in love with the discipline and sacrifice required to succeed.
Fast forward ten years: 9/11 changed everything. Mark immediately joined the United States Navy, serving as an Aviation Ordnanceman through two combat deployments—Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Even in active duty, the training never stopped. Mark brought two sets of boxing gloves on every deployment, sparring with fellow sailors to keep his skills sharp whenever the mission allowed. When he received his Honorable Discharge, he knew his new path was set.
FORGED IN THAILAND
Mark moved to Boston in 2006 and began training at Wai Kru MMA. After a year of competing in mixed martial arts, he found his true calling in the ‘Art of Eight Limbs’: Muay Thai.
Knowing that to be the best, you must train with the best, Mark began making annual pilgrimages to Thailand. He trained at the country’s most prestigious camps, earning certification as an Instructor under the Thai Government and World Muay Thai Federation.
Today, after 19+ years of evolution, Coach Mark combines the raw intensity of military life with the traditional respect of Thai martial arts. He has produced over 20 belted Muay Thai Champions, proving that his system works.
